Bar Praia dos Ingles, Foz do Douro where the winter storms regularly sweep away the stilt- built beach cafes and bars.
This is where we meet when the storms are hypnotic and the big glass veranda of this bar is set high above the waves and the feeling of being in the storm is overwhelming.
It is possible to sit here for hours and just listen to the crashing of the waves and watch the water seem to sweep over you.
